I played the flute solo on Besame Mucho two years ago with the Contra Contra Costa Jazz Band and Mazella Houston.

Count Basie wrote this tune dedicating it to his puppy dog Splanky.

A nice July day back in 2014 on the top of a mountain at Kunde Family Winery playing big band jazz for a wonderful wedding. 80 degrees, under a huge Oak Tree, 17 of my favorite musical friends doing what we love to do, play big band jazz classics.
